Virtualize from 1 to 30 + servers using the essentials bundles.

These bundles differ from enterprise licensing in that they come with everything needed; license, vcenter, esx, etc.

One caveat, this licensing type differs from the enterprise licensing in that there are no upgrade paths to any other versions of VMWare. Once you choose one and buy it, if you grow out of it or decide you need more functionality, you will have to buy new licenses.
